For over 40 years, we have been perfecting our
work, offering custom made solutions to our customers by specializing in steel
and bronze casting and machining.
We are a 100% Mexican company, consolidated by the
growing trust that our customers have in us…a trust that supports the
prestige we have achieved by keeping a young spirit in constant innovation
and development.
Background
FIMEX began its operations casting and machining bronze bushes for
Caterpillar.
In this division, it began to formulate new
alloys, resulting in parts with technical specifications and specialized
designs that matched its customer’s needs.
Later on, it started out new processes and alloys
in carbon steel, stainless steel, and refractory steel, smelting for
clinker coolers used in the cement industry.
In fimex, we apply state of the art technology in
machinery and equipment for the design, development and production of molds
and high precision tools; we use sophisticated software, for the design of
pieces and automated production processes (CAD/CAM), pattern making, kloster systems, IMF mold handling, induction furnaces
as well as efficient check out systems, cleaning and heat treatments. In
the same manner, we complement the final cycle, with conventional or high
technology numeric control machining, either for bonze or steel pieces.

complement the design, pattern making, casting, treatment, and machining of
our parts in a single plant for our niche market, mid to low volume partsand only 1,000 miles from the U.S.

the industry, allows us to go further and expand the use of our products by
finding new opportunity areas.

experienced and qualified technicians in more than 12,000 square meters of
modern and wide facilities…
The quality system is present in all the stages of
our products process: design,
material reception, casting, machining, and distribution; this is why, both
our laboratories, and all our personnel are certified to apply controls and
procedures that guarantee all of our products, fulfilling world class
quality standards, which has been certified by national and international
regulating organizations.
At FIMEX we have an environmental respect vocation, this is why we have adopted new processes and
technologies in our production plants that contribute to ensure a quality
environment for future generations.
This is how we reach the world wide quality levels
our products stand for. This are efficiently distributed to different
countries, through renowned brands in the cement, machinery and heavy
equipment, specialized transportation, mining, agro and petrochemical
industries and industrial valves sectors among others; managing to export
over 60% of our production.
